Broaddus is a town in San Augustine County, Texas, United States. The population was 207 at the 2010 census.
As of the census of 2000, there were 189 people, 82 households, and 47 families residing in the town. The population density was 501.4 people per square mile (192.0/km²). There were 103 housing units at an average density of 273.3 per square mile (104.7/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 99.47% White, and 0.53% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.12% of the population.
In 2000, 26.8% of households in Broaddus had children under the age of 18, 45.1% consisted of married couples living together, 9.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 41.5% were non-families. 41.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 25.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.30 and the average family size was 3.21. The population was spread out with 29.1% under the age of 18, 6.9% from 18 to 24, 24.3% from 25 to 44, 16.4% from 45 to 64, and 23.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years.
