As of the census of 2000, there were 1,433 people, 575 households, and 395 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 250.5 people per square mile (96.7/km²). There were 653 housing units at an average density of 114.1/sq mi (44.1/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 89.46% White, 1.33% Black or African American, 0.77% Native American, 2.86% Asian, 3.35% from other races, and 2.23% from two or more races. 9.42% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
