As of the census of 2000, there were 876 people, 304 households, and 227 families residing in the town. Thepopulation density was 1,061.2 people per square mile (407.5/km²). There were 325 housing units at an average density of 393.7 per square mile (151.2/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 79.22% White, 3.08% African American, 0.34% Native American, 5.94% Asian, 9.02% from other races, and 2.40% from two or more races.Hispanic or Latino of any race were 20.09% of the population.
There were 304 households out of which 37.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.2% weremarried couples living together, 8.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.3% were non-families. 21.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.88 and the average family size was 3.35.
