Los Ebanos is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hidalgo County, Texas. The population was 335 at the 2010 United States Census. It is part of the McAllen–Edinburg–MissionMetropolitan Statistical Area. The city is named after the Texas Ebony (Ebenopsis ebano) that anchors the Los Ebanos Ferry.
