Robstown is a city in Nueces County, Texas, United States, and a western suburb of Corpus Christi. It was founded about 1906, and was named for Robert Driscoll. The population was 12,836 as of the 2010 census.
The Texas State Legislature officially recognizes Robstown as the birthplace of Texas Hold 'em poker.

Robstown is divided into several distinct neighborhoods.
Bluebonnet: located in the northwest area of town, right next to Robstown High School.
Casa Blanca: A school was build on top of the Native American burial site. They named the school “Casa Blanca” meaning white house and this is how the legal name came about. Casa Blanca has a rich history having a large area where Native Americans lived from different tribes. There is a chief buried on this site where the school was place. Due to the history of the Native American burial ground a turtle was placed as a Native American symbol in which it represents Mother Earth. It still rest on the corner of the park, but without a head. There are many stories told to the people about the turtle how each tribe viewed it. For instance, Iroquois Indians, tells a story of the daughter of the Great Spirit, falls from the sky to Earth she lands on the back of a turtle and uses the mud to make the earth Lakota Indians of South Dakota believed the turtle to be a guardian spirit over their children because of the reptile's longevity and its ability to protect itself inside a shell. Hawaii Native Americans Indians, sees the turtle as their spiritual symbol spirit linking them to their ancestors Mojave Indians believe the tortoise is an important connection to the heavens, with its high-domed shell symbolizing the dome of the sky over the earth. Apache Indians believe the turtle is a symbol for strength, of truth and the meaning of hope. There are stories of seeing the spirit of the chief and men dancing at the park. A little girl playing in the grass with a dog. Some have said they have seen a woman walking toward the turtle wearing a white glowing dress carrying something on her arms. Some say it’s an infant others say it is a gift to the turtle. There are many Native American living within Casa Blanca. Casa Blanca has many good people, educated and hard working workers. President George Bush Sr. directed this month of November as a symbol and remembrance to the Native American Indians.
