As of the census of 2000, there were 177 people, 75 households, and 57 families residing in the town. Thepopulation density was 224.1 people per square mile (86.5/km²). There were 78 housing units at an average density of 98.8 per square mile (38.1/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 83.05% White, 15.82% African American, and 1.13% from two or more races.
There were 75 households out of which 26.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.0% weremarried couples living together, 10.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.7% were non-families. 20.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.36 and the average family size was 2.69.
