Marion is a city in Guadalupe County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,066 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The City of Marion is served by the Marion Independent School District. A small portion is served by the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District.
The town is named in for Marion Dove, whose grandfather, Joshua W. Young, owned aplantation that the Galveston, Harrisburg and San Antonio Railway passed through in 1877.
